Missionary Trip Information
Form Your Team - Rally your troops, whether it be a group from church, friends, or family. Find out who is going and have them each fill out a Missions Trip Application and sign a Release form and return to our office at 9240 Estero Park Commons Blvd, Suite 5, Estero, FL 33928 or email the signed application as an attachment to Robert@sunriseworldhope.org
Pick Your Dates - Check out our trip calender and plan what week you would like your trip to be. Then E-Mail Robert Perez at Robert@sunriseworldhope.org to reserve your spot.
Raise Your Support - Gather your team and start raising your support. Remember, the trip costs about $850 per person plus your airfare to Lima. Your first payment of 50% per person is due 90 days before your trip so that we can purchase the plane tickets. The rest of the money is due 2 months before you leave. Don't worry, there are many easy ways to raise the money: car washes, bake sales, church auctions or dinners, and support letters are only a few examples. Check out our sample support letter to get you started.
Train Your Team - There are many great ways to prepare your team for an unforgettable missions experience. You may decide to meet together as a team once a week, or every other week. Take some time for everyone to get to know one another. There is nothing like serving the Lord as one body, in perfect unity. A very important thing that you will need to do with your team is pray. Pray hard and pray often. At the SWH you will be spending a lot of time working with and ministering to these children in Iquitos. Another thing you can do with your team is to think up and prepare skits or Bible stories. Consider learning some songs in Spanish to sing with them. The sky is the limit.
