“Bringing hope to a new generation”

Sunrise World Hope is a non-profit organization that focuses on the present and the future of children that the world has forgotten. In lower Iquitos is the slum of Belen, where many of the children and families come to Sunrise World Hope for assistance. We have now started to branch out and serve many others from all over Iquitos and the surrounding Amazon region.

Sunrise World Hope Learning Centers currently instructs over one hundred children and young adults in a variety of skills and trades, including computer training, English language, and small business skills. Sunrise World Hope provides opportunities that otherwise would never be possible. The center also provides life counseling for young adults and children to help them from falling into destructive behaviors. Our goal is to give the necessities and skills needed to make them self-sufficient and successful adults.

Iglesia Amanecer (Sunrise Church strategically located in the slum of Belen) teaches the children and adults of the community to live by the word of God and to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
